The weekday judgment delivered in favour of the corps resulted from a suit filed by one Pius Abu.

Meanwhile, Justice Chikere dominated that “It is wrong to limit the social control of the traffic rules to the roads listed within the Federal Road Safety Corps (Establishment) Act once the Act provides the second suspect (FRSC) to enforce the traffic rules on all public roads in different legislations.”

She conjointly declared that FRSC is authorised to arrest and prosecute anybody found to violate traffic rules on any public road.
