Government Plans to Revive Non-functional Water Schemes in Anambra
– As Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engr. Ezenwanne Inspects Facilities

Anambra State Government has reiterated its position in ensuring that all non-functional water schemes in the state are revived so as to provide the needed support and fill the gap in water demand in the state.
Commissioner for Public Utilities, Hon. Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne made this known yesterday, 25th June, 2020 when he led a team from the Ministry and visited the Abube-Agu Nando Water Project, Enuguabo-Ufuma water scheme, Ajalli water scheme, Umunze Regional Water Scheme 1-2 and others and promised that Government will get the water facilities working again in the nearest future.
‘ We initiated, completed and commissioned Otuocha regional water scheme and revived Obizi Aguata Mega Water project and both are functional as we speak’.
‘ It’s time to revive others that had gone comatose so that they will serve the water needs of our people. We thank Governor Obiano for his keen interest in the provision of portable water for ndi Anambra. These facilities will soon come back to life’, the Commissioner assured.
